Low Inflation Figures Push Mortgage Rates Back Down Thursday, June 18, 2009 Freddie Mac released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey in which the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 5.38 percent with an average 0.7 point for the week ending June 18, 2009, down from last week when it averaged 5.59 percent.
